Any suggestions for getting the Hulu player to work? I keep getting "Sorry, unable to load the player. Please check your internet connection, clear your cache and try again." Done, done and done. It fails in Firefox 24.4.0, Seamonkey and Opera.
I've read the following solutions:
turning off all flashblocker programs (done),
upgrading Flash (running the most current available 11.2.202.359-x86_64-1gv),
installing Chrome/Chromium (not in the repository),
installing seamonkeyso.lib (done),
and using Windows/IE through Wine or Chrome through wine (don't have Windows, Wine is over my head).
FWIW, Amazon Prime videos and Youtube work fine.
Thanks.

Re: Hulu player not working
Probably a dumb question but where are you located? For example, here in the UK Hulu just tells me "USA only - bugger off"... or words to that effect.

Re: Hulu player not working
In this and another thread you keep mentioning "11.2.202.359-x86_64-1gv". The current flash in the 14.1 repos is "11.2.202.350-x86_64-1gv". Is this a typo or where did you get this version of flash?tigerflag wrote: upgrading Flash (running the most current available 11.2.202.359-x86_64-1gv.
Also, as you say this affects multiple browsers, I'd suggest making another user as gapan said in the other thread, if that works it's the user. If not, then it's your system, and I'd say "phooey...too much work...time to install (not upgrade) 14.1" ("it's the only way to be sure")
