Pour moi, ce serait: gpm -m /dev/input/mice -t ps2

Le "-t ps2" fonctionne si c'est une souris USB, c'est le protocole le plus "passe-partout" à mon avis.
Pour voir les différents protocoles dispo, tu peux faire un -t help plutôt que le -t ps2.

EDIT: je ne savais pas que gpm était encore ...

Does the RPC portmapper is launched while boot? NFS needs it before you can mount the shares...

XFS doesn't need the "fsck after X number of boots" annoyance either.
It's a feature imho and I really look upon it as highly useful. Anyway you can tweak your fs options to disable it like this too:
tune2fs -c 0 -i 0 <ext2/3/4 device>
