Trying to install k9copy [SOLVED]
Hello all. I am trying to install k9copy from Sourcery Slackbuilds. I have installed all of the dependencies, installed linuxdoc-tools and the kernel-source. Following is the last part of the log. It looks like it is looking for Q_WS_X11, Q_WS_QWS and Q_WS_MAC.

Re: VLC no sound
I tried to use VLC under my wife's log in and it works perfectly! So I must have a configuration issue.
Does anyone know what file has to be configured? I have just created a new user for my alter-ego. If I have to I can try this route. Thanks for everyone's input.
But it is still driving me nuts!

Re: VLC no sound
I had installed K9Copy and Xine as this was one of the dependents of K9Copy. Could these be the culprits?

Re: VLC no sound
They are all installed through the menu.
I will double check when I get home for the one mentioned by Shador. Thanks!

VLC no sound
I installed VLC with slapt-get and there is no sound. In the audio tab, Audio Device is grayed out. Also Dragon Player does not work at all. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Lose sound when logging out for new user[SOLVED]
Thanks djemos. I did steps 1-3 and it worked. The plug-in for sound worked where I had no toggle switch before, now I do. Thanks!
