Per la gestione di pacchetti slackware, da riga di comando abbiamo 4 programmi diversi:
pkgtool
installpkg
removepkg
upgradepkg
come da questa fonte: http://book.slackware.it/package-management-package-utilities.html
Sciccome ho le idee piuttosto confuse, vorrei farvi alcune domande ...

Salix OS, Vector Linux, and Zenwalk are all based on Slackware. I did not try the others but Salix OS is the one I am using and I think it is the purest Slackware based distribution with some nice artwork. It is also fully backwards compatible with Slackware. One thing I like a lot about Salix OS ...

È vero che nella versione stable c'è ancora il kernel 2.6.37.6 però volendo potresti aggiornare il kernel al 3.2.2 che è già presente in slackware-current [...]
1)il fatto è che senza connssione no posso scaricare il kernel 3.2.2 :(, in alternativa come potrei fare?
Se collego il modem ...

I've seen that salix is usin the 2.6.36.7 kernel version, but I have problems with my broadcom wi fi card not being recognized, so I would kindly make a suggestion:
are gonna the salix developers include the 3.2/3.3 kernel for the next relase of salix?
