I also have the same slapt-get -upgrade error with seamonkey-solibs, on all my machines, DELL, Thinkpad, Asus etc.
I'm also running Salix OS 14, XFCE, 64 bit.

Error message from gslapt:
"Faild to download seamonkey: HTTP response code said error"

I would very much appricate a "possible ...

Short summary ofhow to install VB on Salix:

1. Install iasl and kernel source:
slapt-get -install iasl
slapt-get -i kernel-source

2. Add group and user(-s):
groupadd vboxusers
usermod -a -G vboxusers <username>

3. Download the "VirtualBox-4.1.18-78361-Linux_x86.run" from https://www.virtualbox ...

I did download "VirtualBox-4.1.18-78361-Linux_x86.run" from https://www.virtualbox.org/.
Sorry to say but this also failed, see screen message below.

Which PUEL version (Linux distribution) to install?

I added acpica and libvncserver via Gslapt, then started to install virtualbox via Sourcery,
after compiling for a long time it stopped with following error message log:

gcc: Internal error: Killed (program cc1)
Please submit a full bug report ...

I have problem to install virtualbox 4.1.14 via sourcery (using 13.37 lxde on a Dell D430),
