Re: Salix KDE 14.0.1
With Slackware at RC1 for 14.1, will it be as hard a process to update ISO's for Salix KDE to 14.1 as it would've been going from 13.37?

Re: Fedora 17 - my impressions
I don't think you're the only Gnome 3 fan; its release generated a lot of passionate debate in the Fedora forum. I read through most of those threads, and it seemed there was no middle ground; people either hated it or loved it (although the haters appeared to outnumber the fans). I remember some a...

Re: Fedora 17 - my impressions
The only thing to note though with all this is that Fedora is fun. Re: Fedora 17 - my impressions
The AMD support is terrible as well. They criticize the catalyst driver but it appears to be more the Fedora team consistently updating the xorg version for little gain. If Fedora changed there policy to be new only when it matters and not new just for new's sake then it would be a lot better. This ...

Packages and Salix - fixing repositories
I was interested to understand more about sourcery and where the packages were derived from. From my understanding salix uses sbo is this correct or do you use multiple repositories(slackpkg etc)? I was asking djemos in the slackel forum about creating a script and checking for broken packages in sb...

Re: Fedora 17 - my impressions
Fedora is all well and good until you rely on it and then it always crashes or fails at the most inconvenient time. - GNOME 3.4 is a major improvement over its predecessors Well it couldn't get worse, well according to some the changes in nautilus n 3.6 are a step backwards and Distro's based of it ...
