Mimosa still it can not boot to runlevel 3.

Nevermind I booted by passing parameter vga=ask and then choose 9 ( vesa ).

But still x does not start. I get a blank screen and computer hangs.

I have tried 10 different distros and all the same.

How can I install a newer kernel ?

Now I havee 3.2.29 ...

mimosa this is definetely wrong. I did it and says : No such image

I just installed 13.37 and did the upgrade to 14.0 .

I followed all the steps carefully and finished with no errors.

After the update I rebooted and when x starting i got only black screen.

I had the same error with Ubuntu, debian etc with 3.2 kernels.

I suppose it is a hardware problem ( INtel ...
