Re: Random SLKBUILDs

lipk, did you try to build the mailwatch plugin in a 64bit system?
Yes. What's your error?

Re: Random SLKBUILDs

I tested it on 4.10, but 4.8 should be fine, too.

Random SLKBUILDs

Hi all, I've put together some packages I missed from the main repo. You can download the build scripts from here: https://github.com/lipk/salix-packages Currently, there're two packages there: the mail checker panel plugin for Xfce and CodeLite, my favorite C++ IDE. More to come (maybe). Cheers, lipk

wesnoth + boost 1.42

Salix currently uses boost 1.42, but wesnoth insists on 1.41 (I cannot even compile with 1.42). Can I downgrade somehow, or I have to build 1.41 myself?

Re: Salix is great!

Maybe you are using 64 bit Salix but 32 bit Sidux & Arch... (or you have a really minimalistic environment in S & A ;) )

Re: Salix 13.1alpha1

'Mature' & 'bleeding edge' are not exactly synonymous even if both have their legitimate place. It's merely a matter of weighing both advantages & drawbacks at a certain point in time & reconsidering things regularly. ;) The BLEEDING-EDGE browser Chrome is HTML5 compatible, so it has a ...

Chromium is not mature enough for a standard browser, even if it is very fast. So it's not an option for 13.1.
It's a matter of viewpoint. For example, Chrome has the best HTML5 support now.
