Voila j'ai un petit problème d'ordre mineur mais qui me chiffonne .


Je monte un petit serveur pxe à la maison pour installer des linux sur la famille ;) .
J'ai suivi des tutos à droite à gauche dont celui sur salixOS .
Tftpd et dhcpd semblent fonctionner sans trop d'encombre ...

I did "fresh install" Slackel and everything worked perfectly .
A brand newer kernel was the solution for the lazy man i am .

I didn't try Slackware yet but i can probably solve my problem differently .

On my 13.37 upgraded to 14.0 (i did keep the partition ) when X tries to launch there is the message :
/usr/bin/X: /usr/lib/libz.so.1: version 'ZLIB_1.2.5.2' not found (required by /usr/lib/libfontenc.so.1)

I tried to put "modesetting" in the driver section (xorg.conf) alsa fbdev and gma500_gfx it didn't work .

I tried to : X -reconfigure it didn't do anything and i ve heard somewhere that it brings the mess in the xorg.conf
Also the xorg.conf-vesa doesn't not work .
All little poor things i know ...

I have a very similar problem on my 14.0 distro . X doesn't want to start properly .

My video chipset is intel GMA500 (i know very bad choice of hardware) So i tried to install xf86-fbdev-driver via slapt ...

It's ok i just needed to enter :
slapt-get --add-keys
