Re: Salix Xfce 14.1
It looks like you <should> be able to use Hulu with Salix 13.37 after all, and definitely with Salix 14.1 (at least laprjns and I could). Seeing as you said you couldn't, I'd take a close look at my system (maybe javascript or something else turned off in FF?). I give up. I've turned off all add-on...

Re: Salix Xfce 14.1
Actually it is possible to upgrade straight from 13.37 to 14.1. I have done it at least twice, but you really need to know what you are doing. it's basically a matter of knowing how to merge the instructions for upgrading 13.37->14.0 and 14.0->14.1 together. But, that will not give you a newer fire...

Re: Salix Xfce 14.1
....Apparently Firefox v.28 can use the Hulu player, but the package repository for 13.37 only goes as high as Firefox v.24.4. Upgrading to Salix 14.1 won't help you get FF28, as far as I can tell the 14.1 repos do NOT contain FF28, only FF24.4 ESR Yikes, you're right. I misread Distrowatch. Guess ...

Re: Salix Xfce 14.1
Absolutely not. You would need to upgrade to 14.0 first - and there is no way Gslapt can do that. See the wiki for instructions. Under the circumstances, you would probably do better to back up your data and do a fresh install. However, there is no need to upgrade at all; 13.37 will continue to be ...

Re: Salix Xfce 14.1
Is it possible to upgrade directly from Salix 13.37 to 14.1 using Gslapt?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hulu player not working
Any suggestions for getting the Hulu player to work? I keep getting "Sorry, unable to load the player. Please check your internet connection, clear your cache and try again." Done, done and done. It fails in Firefox 24.4.0, Seamonkey and Opera. I've read the following solutions: turning of...

Re: Update prompt appears when no updates are available
Thank you.
As long as I've got you here, can you tell me what happens if I delete cached package files in Gslapt? Is it advisable or not?

Re: Update prompt appears when no updates are available
Thank you. Sorry I couldn't get back to this sooner.
I changed my repository mirrors. Ran an update in Gslapt which seemed to go fine. Checked to mark all upgrades. It says none are available. Do you know if v.13.37 is being updated any more?

[SOLVED] Update prompt appears when no updates are available
Lately the update icon keeps appearing in my the taskbar when no package updates are available. It pops up daily, even if I've just completed an update that same day. I can check for updates and it'll go away, but then it comes back again. Rebooting doesn't help. I'm using these sources in Gslapt: h...
