I reinstall salix again and I tried to install Nvidia got some errors but the resolution was fixed but allways I need to pass some parametrs to kernel,when I want to install skype again another ...

Thank you for all efforts to help me , but I see it is hard to start with salix may be the next relase 14.1,
it need a lot of settings to get it working , and need also a good speed connection
all my time on pc I m on linux , using windows only for gaming not more.

I have delelated all partitions and I made a new with ext4 and swap but the problems is the same,
if the acpi=off is needed , why some distros work without adding any things like Debian and deritives mint or Solydx ...

Hi again , after a lot of search , I can only boot to the desktop only when passign this to kernel "acpi=off"
what s this means ?, also the desktop is small , it does nt fit all the screen
may be i need the nvidia close drivers ?
