I forgot that I start network manager in the slackware setup. I re-read the install guide and found that wicd is running but wireless needs to be started. I was reading Erics guide to enable it but lost interest. I will try again later.

I have been a long time slackware user, used arch,edubuntu and fedora since fedora6 . I decided to try salix but there is no support for my usb wifi?. It has worked out of the box with ubuntu and slackware . I just tried 14.1 and its not even turning on/light flashing. Are you using a different ...
