Indeed! I can't do without it. The glossy screens are terrible and it helps a lot.

No such package or SlackBuild: redshift

The one I installed is from here http://pkgs.org/slackware-13.37/alphage ... t.txz.html

Hi guys!

Just installed Salix and cannot find repo to install redshift. Tried this but doesn't work

root[vb]# installpkg /home/vb/Downloads/redshift-1.7-i486-1_ejt.txz
Verifying package redshift-1.7-i486-1_ejt.txz.

[SOLVED] Execute rc.local at boot

Hi guys!

Just installed Salix and cannot make my rc.local entries permanent - on reboot have to do them manually
Example
echo '1200000' > '/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq'
echo '1200000' > '/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq'
