I found solution. Just run following command as root.

dhcpcd usb0

Example


root@mypc:~# dhcpcd usb0
dhcpcd[25323]: version 6.0.5 starting

I have a Samsung GT-S7392 Trend android 4.1.2 phone.

It used to connect easily to my laptop when I was on most linux distros.

While everything else worked just fine with Salix, I am having tough time in making Salix to detect this USB tethered internet connection.

Any ideas or hints or ...

I have latest salix installed and it is working great.

However, there is an issue with dual boot, which I failed to fix so far.

I have a windows installation also in this computer and it always boot to Windows(unless I manually select Salix in Boot time) irrespective of "default=Salix ...
