thanx a lot. works great. but every time I upgrade the system (salix 14.1 mate) it tries to downgrade to the previous version. what about upgrading packages in repository?

for salix 14.1 I have kernel 4.4.32.
but I wonder why the numbers are changing so fast :?: Linus produces new kernel every few days.

isn't it possible to build Salix mate on Salix base (cli, without graphical environment)? so first base system, then mate plus login manager (lightdm?) to get also X.org (as dependency).
