Re: Seperate Home Partition
For djemos :
It works!!! Installing both the latest sli and slackware-live-0.4.5 does the trick. I now have the separate /home partition on the other drive. Thanks a lot.
For westms :
Thanks for the detailed answer. Indeed Thinkpad T420 can operate both with legacy and UEFI Bios.

It ...

Re: Seperate Home Partition
Thank you gapan!
Oh man, it would be wonderful if that would work! I've installed Salix live xfce64bit version since it's the only one that would actually work on my laptop. Probably because it has eLILO instead of LILO.

Cannot run Atom editor
Hi,
I've recently installed Atom editor with gslapt and when I run it - it doesn't start.
To check what's going on I ran it in terminal. This is the output:
exmachina[~]$ atom
exmachina[~]$ /usr/bin/atom: line 113: 1223 Aborted nohup "$ATOM_PATH" --executed-from="$(pwd)" --pid=$$ "$@" > "$ATOM ...

Re: Font rendering improved
Hi, new Salix user alert!!! I'm not trying to revive an year old thread but I just couldn't help myself.
I just tried this and the font rendering has improved hugely. I'm keeping these settings. Just beautiful!
Thanks for the tip!
