My local "third party" slackbuilds repository
Hi all, I'm running my own local repository hosted on SalixOS. Here is a small instruction how to use it: 1. Add http://people.salixos.org/knedlyk/slackbuilds/ to the sourcery repo list or to the slapt-src config file. 2. Update packages in sourcery or "slapt-src --update" in terminal. 3. ...

Re: Packaging rules
I've fixed the link in the wiki article to the new one. The one you are referring to is outdated and not used anymore (so don't care about the error messages). I'm going crazy. Could you clearly point out the link? Next, could anyone, who has access to the wiki page, fix the text and links? For ins...

Re: Packaging rules
I carefully read the wiki, but still don't understand how to submit packages. First of all, link to sourceforge bugtracker page is invalid (http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/salix/wiki). I found a page https://sourceforge.net/p/salix/packages/ , but there are no packages. Finally, can anybody explain...

Re: How To: Wifi rtl8192se_pci
The connection with the driver provided by Realtek was not really stable with my Thinkpad. I had to install kernel 2.6.38-rc2 which has native support for the chipset (the firmware of the Realtek driver is still needed). I have the same issue. It works flawlessly with wicd, but don't work witrh Net...

Re: Keyboard layout configuration utility and switcher for LXDE
Yes, I tried it long long time ago, and remember that I didn't like it for some reasons. Besides, note that fbxkb is an indicator/switcher only. Have you ever try to configure it ? That is why I found axkb and still use it.

Keyboard layout configuration utility and switcher for LXDE
Salix LXDE version needs layout switcher. Lxde panel has layout plugin but it only uses initially defined keyboard layouts. Unfortunately, LXDE still doesn't have own layout configuration utility. Here is a few words about this http://forum.lxde.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=603 . From my personal exp...
