Please advise what to consider when installing Salix x86_64 today to get the up-to-date system? Which repositories put to slapt-getrc, what and in which order is better to update first (kernel, glibc, etc)?

No, I'm use Adwaita. Temporary renaming of .cache, .config, .local make no difference, lsof also doesn,t give any ideas. Confused. Still digging.

Thanks, but removing .audacity-data is the first thing I've tried, because I've keep my home folder when install fresh 14.2.
All deps is fine. Now I've tried to run audacity by freshly created user on second X session, and it's run just fine. So, problem is in some configs in my home folder.

Users of Salix 14.2, does Audacity from 2.1.2-i586-1rl package works for you? Mine is hangs on startup showing only plain gray window.

You can try to chroot into the failed system and see if it will upgrade from there.

Thanks, I've tried to use chroot, but it seems there is some serious problems with libs (glibс I guess) - I even can't do chroot without use bash-static, so I decided that clean system will be better choise, and ...
