"Right" Wrong. I never resized anything. I can't print a screen shot, so I searched "xfce desktop." "Cinnamon desktop" and "MATE desktop." Saved the first photo in each one. This is the same as I have on my Salix desktop.

I do want help with that. In other posts, my Salix distro has to many problems. This was a problem, but not as big as a problem as not being able to use the distro because of display problems. Can't use it until I get the display fixed at least.

A few posts a go, UPDATE: As I'm typing this, i remembered to go in "display' settings. Although it's already set up, just by going to the settings, the screens flicker. Then it works on the wrong monitor. I ran the command and its' now the way ...

Installed Saiix 14.2. When I try and access the other drives, I get a "failed to mount volume" on both drives. One is Windows, the other media. I have quick start turned off on Windows. The live DVD has access, but after install, no access. What can I do?

I wanted better desktop photos in Salix. I saw in gslapt "MATE Desktop photos". I installed them, it says it's installed, but I don't have the pictures anywhere.

If you're booting with UEFI, you shouldn't be using Lilosetup. Use refind (but please search the forum for a link to download the earlier version, rather than installing it from the repositories - there was a bug in a recent upgrade, fixed now, but may take a little while to filter through).

Unbelievable. I was not able to watch a movie tonight. I got the monitor working so movie night's back on. The sound doesn't work, so it's back off. I spend part of the night and got my sound working. Good, it's late but still have time to watch the movie.
