ist SalixOs eingestellt? Wann wird Slackware 15 veröffentlicht. Im Vergleich zu Arch,Ubuntu, Debian scheint ja Slackware ziemlich hinterherzuhinken?

how do i get VLC Player 3.0.1 installed on the SALIX 14.2?

slap-get founds only 2.4 (so vlc 2.4 is yes installed)

Was ich gemacht habe:
SALIX LIVE XFCE 14.1 gebootet in VirtualBox. Dann in /tmp/ wechlseln. Sudo su

ich würde gerne Chromium mit PepperFlash zum laufen bringen.

habe mir die Dateien chromium-pepperflash-plugin-17.0.0.169-x86_64-1alien.txz und chromium-42.0.2311.90-i486-1alien.txz und installiert.

So after i started i few tests i can say the livecd based on xfce works for me perfect.
In fact if i made a live usb stick based on the xfce-livecd with the live-clone script i will be able to attach every ntfs formatted usb-hddisk and i can write to the external disk without problems.

i just downloaded the test version of Salix Live 13.1. Burned it into CD and all works then booting from cd.
Now i formatted a usb stick with fat32 and copied the content of the cd to the usb stick. then i tried to execute the bootinst.sh but i get an error:
