Re: What would you want in Salix?

I think Salix needs a better installation manager. If it will be, Salix would be more popular. Well, SLI is pure awesomeness in it's simplicity ( including tehnical side ). Not to mention the fact that it does it's job every time, without any fuss ( I atleast never had any issues with it ). However...

Re: Don't throw away your old PC - a success story.

The oldest thing I have is an Athlon XP @2GHz, 768MB RAM & Radeon 9600PRO. Though it's currently waiting for a new PSU and besides issues with browsers due to lack of SSE2 instruction set, it runs Salix 14.1 like a champ. It's also perfect for coders. No better way of squeezing every bit of spee...

More developers. While being a bit short on free time lately, I'd certanly like to help. I'm good with GTK theming, Python ( GTK stuff in particular ), Bash and debugging things in general. Some of the stuff I've been doing can be found @ https://gitlab.com/users/Cofi/projects . Now, excuse me if m...

Oxygen-gtk version presently in the 14.0 repo: # slapt-get --search oxygen-gtk oxygen-gtk2-1.3.0-x86_64-...

Greetings!

Hello community, I'm Filip from Belgrade, Serbia. A relatively long time Linux user, entrenched in the Debian waters ( since, well, old habits die hard  ), however I've been using, playing with and following Salix since 14.1. Kudos to the team for the great distro, tools ( GtkMan especially ),...

Re: [Resolved] Issue with mozilla-firefox-52.2.0esr-x86_64-1

It's about time I finally get down to write the first post, so hello everyone! :) OK, I still think it might be something to do with the theme. ... It does indeed. :) It's a known issue with Oxygen GTK3 engine & FF, Pale Moon and possibly Thunderbird. At this moment I don't have the time to rebo...
