Unfortunately it seems to not be maintained any more at SBo.

Well, broadcom-sta is still maintained.
Look at https://slackbuilds.org/slackbuilds/15.0/network :

broadcom-sta.tar.gz	2020-12-18 20:48 	13K

I finally reinstalled the system and the kernel-source package.

While investigating further, i found an unresolved link :
/usr/src/linux is linked to /usr/src/linux-5.15.38 but this directory doesn't exist.

So i create it:
sudo mkdir /usr/src/linux-5.15.38

Then, installing the broadcom driver ...

I tried your tip but :

Hello everybody,

Salix 15-beta1 installed easily.
Works fine.
Just a problem : wifi doesn't work.

$ lspci -v | grep Network
05:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM43142 802.11b/g/n

Could help ?
