@gapan
I used the 64 bit ISO. I tried the RC2 ISO and the keyboard problem is fixed. Thanks!

Re: Salix Xfce 13.37RC1
Yes, it is a USB keyboard. My motherboard's BIOS does not have that option so I cannot try it.gapan wrote:@hcl,
is that a USB keyboard? Sometimes, there is an option you can switch in the system bios for "legacy" usb devices or something like that. Maybe playing with that would help.

Hi,
I encountered 2 problems during installation.
First, the keyboard freezes at the first installer screen. The keyboard worked at the boot menu where I could use the up and down arrow to select between two options. After the system has boot up, the installer screen came up but the keyboard ...

Re: Problems with gst-plugins-good in Salix64 13.1?
Yes, that was exactly what I did. I did the install twice tonight and I think what happened on the night before may be caused by not exiting from gslapt-get when I ran salix-codecs-installer. So gslapt-get didn't know that gst-plugins-good was already installed by salix-codecs-installer.

Re: Problems with gst-plugins-good in Salix64 13.1?
It's weird that I cannot reproduce the problem now with the system that I'm working on, even after reverting the Slackware version (the one that ends in "-1") back to the Salix version (the one that ends in "-1gv"). Everything is working fine. I have installed other things since then (such as the ...

Problems with gst-plugins-good in Salix64 13.1?
I did a new install of Salix 13.1 x86_64 a few days ago and was having problems playing FLAC files using Quodlibet and Exaile. I noticed there were two versions of gst-plugins-good: 0.10.22-x86_64-1 and 0.10.22-x86_64-1gv. The latter was installed. I ran Quodlibet at the terminal and saw lots of ...
