Re: Outdated package versions question
Hi, thanks for the tip. I couldn't get nodejs to install from sourcery the first couple of times, in fact I couldn't even find it in the beginning, but eventually it installed.
For what I am trying to do, I had to update python past v3.5.1, so I had to build that from source too. But that went fast ...

Outdated package versions question
General question, but many of the packages in both slapt-get and Sourcery are outdated.
I had to build vim from source in order to use the plugin manager I wanted to use.
I am now faced with building node[js] from source for one of my vim plugins to work correctly, and also for web-dev related ...

Arm architecture release 14.1?
Hi,
I'm wondering if there is a 14.2 release for Arm?
I have a Pinebook 11" on order and I notice the latest release is 14.01 ( http://download.salixos.org/arm/ ).
I understand that this is a community release, but there exists a 14.2 Slackware release ( http://arm.slackware.com/installation ...

Is the enialis.net mirror down for good?
I set up Salix to use the mirror http://salix.enialis.net/ but it seems like it has been down for a while (a few weeks?).
Couldn't ping the address either. I edited my slapt-getrc and slapt-getsrcrc to use a different mirror. If enialis is down for good I wanted to bring it to the attention of ...

I don't think the monitor reports it's resolution back to the PC. When I used my job's Windows PC I had to manually tell Windows the resolution, it wasn't recognized there either, but I was able ...

YOU did it super awesome Salix forum people! Thanks @gapan & @galmei !
