Since it initially complained about two missing perl modules, I installed them all. I made sure x-forwarding was enabled in ssh and tested it by invoking xclock and making sure it indeed did display on my originating machine when ssh into the salix machine. I've looked at logs for errors but can not...

x2goserver hangs
I installed x2go server. When I tried to connect from a remote host it complained about some missing perl modules, so I installed them. Now when I try to connect it hangs indefinitely, never times out, never connects. Can't find any server side log files that might provide a clue.

Cut a new 14.2.1 ISO with working repositories
I recently installed 14.2.1 and found immediately that slapt-get did not work owing to repositories that did not work. It would to me a very basic thing to make sure your most recent install ISO has good repos in it.

Someone gave me good repos to add and I got past this problem. Now trying to get x2goserver to work. Not cooperating.

This is the problem I'm having with the package manager. It is running as root and networking and DNS are working properly.
