I have been testing the LXDE b1 and it seems to use 60 Mb of RAM and 15 Mb of SWAP when "idling" on my old machine Asus P4/128 Mb of RAM. I have installed it on a 20 Gb partition + 256 Mb SWAP - and the file system is ext3 (uses less resources). It does not feel much more responsive compared to the ...

More apps in the repo
You may consider adding more apps in the repo:
1. IDEs like Netbeans?
2. Languages like Genie (Already have Vala)?
3. Business apps like OpenERP (Included in the Ubuntu and SliTaz repos)
4. Misc. apps like Virtaal (Easy .po files translation)

Thank you very much for the LXDE edition. I have previously installed the LXDE set from the repo and some apps (htop) would not start, some become deselected from the menu (naturally) and the whole GUI set of properties was far less elegant compared to the "stock" XFCE.
