I still find Wolvix to be an extremely strong contender - they have a great software selection - but my enthusiasm is partly based on their design. It looks cool, IMO.

Does Xarchiver (or any application) plug into PCManFM2 like it does with Thunar? Does PCManFM have something like Thunar's Custom Actions?christian wrote:Maybe xarchiver would be a better archive manager than file-roller.

They are, unfortunately, also consistent in their inadequacy. Intelligent defaults should eliminate the need for most of them.
