without installing samba 4.15.5
can type this on address bar on thunar
smb://user_name:password@machine-network_ip/share
e.g. if share is /tmp and user name is djemos and password is some_pass and 192.168.2.210 is the machine network ip
smb://djemos:some_pass@192.168.2.210/tmp

OK, this is bug in samba package (4.15.9-i586-1_slack15.0):

DO NOT USE slapt-get --remove samba - it will remove a lot of other needed packages!!!

1. removepkg samba
2. slapt ...

Hi,
I've just upgrade another machine from 14.2 to 15 and everything is ok, except Samba share.

In Thunar I see all shared host and their shared folders, but I cannot enter any of them - after click nothing happens.

If I try something like this: smb://host/folder I got pop window: Cannot Open ...

After slapt-get --install-set slackware/a I try next step slapt-get -i lightdm... and got error:
slapt-get: error while loading shared libraries :libssl.so.1....

Upgrade on Dell Latitude D410:
(on this machine upgrade from 14.1 to 14.2 perfect - everything OK)
