This is strange, because that library should already be there as part of the appstream package.


I updated a second Salix 15 32-bit machine where salix-update-manager was installed automatically, and the same error occurred. The libxmlb library was not installed automatically. Running sudo slapt ...

flatpak --help
flatpak: error while loading shared libraries: libxmlb.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

ls -l /usr/lib/libxmlb*
ls: nie ma dostępu do '/usr/lib/libxmlb*': Nie ma takiego pliku ani katalogu

After installing the missing library libxmlb-0.3.8-i586 ...

Nothing changed after reinstalling and rebooting the system. It's still the same error.

On one machine running Salix 15 32-bit, the new salix-update-manager hangs on 'reading package list' after entering the password, and nothing happens. The situation is the same whether the program is launched directly or via the tray icon notification.
