I see that in salixos repository exists CHECKSUMS.md5.gz.asc but not the related CHECKSUMS.md5.asc as the official slackware repository.

yes, are not required, but are useful.

MANIFEST.bz2 require a very processing power, but FILELIST.TXT no. It's a simple ls.

I've found many repository without MANIFEST, but only 2 without FILELIST: schoepfer.info and salixos.org.

I see that in salix cd tree there is a good, full slack compatible, PACKAGES.TXT
But there is no MANIFEST.bz2 and FILELIST.TXT

Why not adding these?
