Hi all,
Since my last post, the fix stopped working but, I have recently discovered, a file that sets some of the options for gtk3 called settings.ini which is in (or should be) in ./config/gtk-3.0
[Settings]
gtk-print-preview-command = atril %f
gtk-font-name = DejaVu Sans 20
gtk-icon-theme-name ...

Re: vlc/smplayer crashes on gtk style
Hi all
thanks for the reply; I have, or was switching from one theme to another, including the one mentioned.
I have other issues with salix 15 amyway, such as a slow startup, so salix 15 is on the back-burner, still use 14.2.
All the best

vlc/smplayer crashes on gtk style
Hi all,
I have a problem with vlc/smplayer crashing when the style of interface is set or changed to gtk, as they crash and do not implement the style.
I am using salix 15, have qt5-sty;eplugin installd, as well as gtk1/2/3/4.
Worked well on 14,2.
Did not do a fresh insttall, but upgraded ...
