That seems like a problem with sbopkg and we don't use sbopkg in Salix.


I was pretty sure that it was me doing something wrong with sbopkg and someone will correct my doings, but you are probably right that its a problem with sbopkg.

sbopkg question

Lately wine team released version 10.0 so I would like to upgrade to that version. On slackbuilds.org wine seems to be 10:

but when I check wine in sbopkg it shows version 9. Repository selected in sbopkg is "Sbo repository for Slackware 15.0 ...

glibc dependancy problem

I have compiled some open source DOS game remake. When I try to run it, it complains that it needs glibc 2.34

./abuse
./abuse: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.34' not found (required by ./abuse)

Salix 15 has version 2.33:

jury[~]$ ldd --version
ldd (GNU libc) 2.33
