Thanks, uncommented the line you said out fixed the time sync. Have you had problems with drives not automounting?

I think that the XFCE volume daemon handles auto mounting and should work. But hey, this is an alpha. I'm sure it will be taken care of shortly. Some other minor problems I have encountered are, the codecs installer is not removed when you prompt it to be. Also the time appears to not be syncing ...

I may have found an issue. I can't seem to access any usb drives. Will not auto mount them.

Remove java plugin from Firefox
It seems to interfere with flash playback a bit. Firefox reports that it needs updated. However, disabling it was an easy fix.

Have had only one problem so far. Tried to use rpm to install some printer drivers and got this error:
rpm: error while loading shared libraries: libnss3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Other than that, everything seems very stable.

What is the difference between slapt-get --upgrade and slapt-get --dist-upgrade? What is the preferred method of updating? Is it better to just use gslapt?
