Mouse wheel is too sensitive
Hello,
My system is Salix 13.37, 64-Bit, Xfce. I have a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse. It works but the mouse wheel is too sensitive. It scrolls up and down huge steps. Like I go from the top to the bottom of the web sites immediately just by one small rotation. I couldn't find a setting for it ...

Installing GFreenect (or GObject Introspection)
Hello,

Re: Problem with starting Eclipse
It's an error of me in packaging.
As root, simply edit /usr/bin/eclipse and correct the wrong path. Then all will work.
Sorry, I will take care of this for the next version.
It looks like correct, what should I change it into? The content is:
cd /usr/share/eclipse
./eclipse "$@"

Problem with starting Eclipse
Hello, I installed Eclipse IDE using Gslapt. But it didn't add an entry to the Salix menu, so I tried "eclipse" command on terminal but this time it gave this error:
What might be the problem?

Re: DNS configuration changes after a while
I guess the lease acquired by dhcpcd expires and thus dhpcd requests a new one and also reconfigures the interfaces (e.g. updates resolve.conf with dhcp server data). IMO this behaviour of wicd is inappropriate. I a static DNS is specified it should never be overwritten by dhcp. Wicd could call ...

Re: DNS configuration changes after a while
I am not much of a technical person, I don't know what dhcp is or does. How can I disable it?gapan wrote:Seems that you have set up your network to use dhcp for the nameservers.

Re: DNS configuration changes after a while
But after using the internet for a while, I think it stops using those DNS addresses.
What makes you think that? What are the contents of /etc/resolv.conf?
OpenDNS has a page where you can test whether you are using it or not:
