I just tried a ralink rt2500 wifi card and have the same results. I then tried the ralink card while running linux mint lmde liveusb. I have the same results. It connects for a minute then disconnects. This is getting very frustrating.

I have installed the slack 13.37 version of Salix. Every thing was configured properly and running. It is a bit slow on my old Sony laptop but all I can expect out of this machine.
