hello.
i have 64 bit Salix basic install with xfce.
Want to listen to some music vid on utube so installed gnash via gslapt to overcome flash in 64 issue.
But i don't see install multimedia codecs under multimedia in salix menu.
did i skip over an option during installation?

I have nstalled salix 64 from burned cd to my /dev/sds8 with /dev/sda7as swap.
I am multi-booting Winxp ,wolvix and vector linux with grub version .97
But I can not boot the newly installed salix

I thought I might try salix.
Can I install salix 64 directly from unexploded iso image or it's extracted files if they are on a hard drive not cd?
I am using grub 1 not 2?
