Re: Main idea ?

Re: Repository structure
I noticed on the repo that the description of some files still refer to Zenwalk... Also in the under title, it says that 'our' distro is based on Slackware & Zenwalk. Although most folks here, so far, come from Zenwalk Land, does any substantial code actually come from Zenwalk? Just curious. :)

Re: Standard installation CD or Live CD?
Personally, I have nothing against ncurse, in fact it is an advantage in some situations, mainly non X environment, server... Simply to the lambda user it looks like a 20th century antiquity. The real problem is more if ncurse or gui are not translated... again, not a problem for any of us here, but...

Re: Standard installation CD or Live CD?
Hey... here I come... :) Let's talk about how a live installer would work... Instead of installing packages, a livecd installer explodes modules, but since (most) modules are made with pure generic packages, you can see that there is actually no difference. That means that we can very well imagine a...

Hi there, :) Just signed in. Everything has already been said, so some of this might be a repeat: * At first start on a pretty simple base that we really enjoy working on together & see how it grows * Not a one man show but a teamwork with mutual respect & complementarity. * I really like th...
