My computer has two Linux OS inside: aptosid, a Debian derivative, and salix. As a consequence of an aptosid's dist-upgrade, I cannot boot salix. [Solved] Compilation issue

I'd like to get the pretty game pokerth. I can find it in version 0.8.2 through sourcery. But when I try to get it appears (compilation last lines): ... mv -f libpokerth_protocol.a lib/ make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/slapt-src/games/pokerth/PokerTH-0.8.2-src' /usr/bin/qmake /usr/src/slapt-src/...

tty issue

I've a (minor) problem with my tty (Crtl+Alt+F1... F2...). The characters are very small, too small for my taste and my eyes. And the font is ugly enough...

Can someone give some clue?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Searching for a simple backup program

The nub of the matter was qt. I've installed it (which I thought it was not the same as qt4) and the compilation through sourcery has been fine. Now luckybackup is in my system.

Thanks for your prompt answer.

Regards.

Searching for a simple backup program

Hi, salixers! Following this forum for a while, the time of install and use Salix has come. After the greeting I ask for help with the first -minor- issue. I was searching for a simple backup tool. Two programs appear to fit: backintime and luckybackup. The first is in Gslapt: I installed it, but no...
