You can select desktop in the session at login.
when adding MATE from 14.2 Xfce,
Salix is not yet preparing 14.2 MATE.
Therefore you may encounter some problem on MATE.
MATE:
Code: Select all
$ sudo slapt-get --install-set mate

Re: Palemoon
I have not encountered these problems in Salix. (Note that I posted "Slackel" in the previous post) Surely current Salix and Pale Moon can be used stably. I am updating Pale Moon to 27.0.0 several hours ago. This is also comfortable. If you applied Language Pack to Pale Moon, please remove...

Re: Palemoon
After that I encountered segfault at Slackel Openbox. (It works with KDE)
However, after Salix updates the package, Pale Moon works fine.
Perhaps it's a library difference...

Re: Palemoon
If you encounter Pale Moon crash mainly timing right-click,
It occurred through the use oxygen-gtk theme. (It occurred in other distributions as well) For example:

Re: Palemoon
I have been using Pale Moon for a long time. (Recently lightweight distribution has adopted Pale Moon as the main browser) I have not encountered a segment fault at Pale Moon so far. You can use Pale Moon official Linux Installer to install Pale Moon on Salix: http://linux.palemoon.org/download/inst...
