Hi,
I was looking for free cloud for data backup. Much companies propose these services, but not all is great - little free space, not free service, not linux supported ... I was looking for these conditions:
- Free version of their services
- Min. 5 GB free space (like in Ubuntu One little time before)
- Linux supported (Linux Client developed or yeasy mount cloud account like folder)
- Easy to use
I found pCloud (https://www.pcloud.com/) with 20 GB free space.
Here is the full procedure step by step.
1. Register account + confirm free version
2. Download ubuntu package (https://www.pcloud.com/download.html)
3. Convert to the tgz via alien conversion util (http://joeyh.name/code/alien/)
sudo alien -t --scripts <deb file>
4. Install generated tgz package
sudo installpkg <generated tgz file>
5. Set app for you and use ...
I know, much companies have some + and some - I tested it and I can sey - EASY TO USE.
