Salix Rocks!

Post by jbal »

Been using Salix since Feb. this year, and I've been very impressed.
A big thank you to all who make Salix possible.

Salix Rocks! Because it makes very old machines compatible with todays internet applications. I installed Salix 14.1 on my 16 year old Pentium III desktop computer, which runs at 600 MHz. I can plug modern devices to the USB-1.1 ports, and they work without additional drivers. So the hardware compatibility with Salix is really good. Imagine how it was to use Windows 98 and USB devices...
Thank you, dear developers, that you make it possible for computer users to have fun with their old PCs in the internet of 2015. If Linux would be more known, we don't need to replace "old" computers anymore...

You also gain the benefit of not needing to buy new computers. You can "rescue" old ones or buy pc's that were "off lease". Its like getting an older dog from the pound that acts like a puppy!
