Very nice. Any chance of building cinnamon and mutter for the 14.0 repository? I assume gnome3 will also be required.

I hope to offer "gnome-3.4" and "cinnamon" in salixbang's repository (i have still few little problems). I dont know if the salix's team think to integrate in the official repository.

sorry for my bad english ;)

I don't think that's possible. I see there are several slackware packages that are being replaced in your repos and that could create incompatibilities with slackware.

Probably not. We probably won't have gtk+3 installed by default in any edition and we want webkit based browsers (midori, vimprobable) installed by default in several of them. So webkit has to stay gtk+2.

If they don't conflict, it could be possible, but I don't think that's the case.

Being first carries great responsibility.. ;)
I tried the Salix Live CD Cinnamon and I must say if I were to use Gnome type desktop I could happily use Cinnamon.
Before I post here I will wait for a Solid 14.0 and probably go Xfce4 or KDE though as they have been my mainstay on this 13.1 system for 2+ years.
