Problem to boot installation from Salix KDE 13.37 CD.

yes i know that 13.37 is old but i want install KDE for now...

i want install 13.37 i386 on my pc but when i put CD to cdrom drive and enter to boot i see Kernel Panic.. installation dont run

i have Intel H61 board and Pentiun G620 (core architecture) cpu with Radeon 6570 graphics.

Did you check the md5sum of the download? Could it be a bad burn? To check for the latter, make an .iso copy from your disk and check the md5sum of that.

Have you succeeded with any other Salix editions? What about Live?

13.37 is not old...

This is either a case of a bad burn/download or bad hardware.

i try to add boot parameter "acpi=off" and Salix CD boot. i install it after install i boot with acpi=off and install kernels from slackware 14.0, now works OK.
