Hi,
either with the last update or maybe before, the weather plugin stopped working.
I am still running Salix 13.37 64bit.
Is this a Salix issue or XFCE?
Thanks.

Re: weather plugin (xfce4-weather-plugin) not working
Hi Gapan,
well maybe.
I cannot find a way to check whether this is the reason or something else.
If it is a credits problem, my understanding is, the maintainer should enter a new licence code.
Or am I wrong on this?

Re: weather plugin (xfce4-weather-plugin) not working
I un- and then reinstalled the plugin without effect.

Re: weather plugin (xfce4-weather-plugin) not working
ok,
I just checked what version we have in Salix 13.37 and that one is out of date and out of service.
Version prior 0.8.0 do no longer work and are no longer supported by the developpers.
I found in the respository under 13.37 a version number below 0.8.x . (0.7.4).
Is that the reason?
I did not find the plugin in Salix 14.0x. Was it skipped?
Thanks.

Yes, according to http://goodies.xfce.org/projects/panel- ... her-pluginjpg153 wrote:Is that the reason?
No, I'm running it as I type (Salix 14.0.1). http://imagebin.org/276760jpg153 wrote: I did not find the plugin in Salix 14.0x. Was it skipped?
Re: weather plugin (xfce4-weather-plugin) not working
Well I see this, but if I look into the respositories, there is no such package...No, I'm running it as I type (Salix 14.0.1)
Anyway until I upgrade to 14.0x I will not miss it. Its at least not essential for me and my life
Thanks

For 14.0 xfce4-weather-plugin is a slackware package. You can find it here:jpg153 wrote:Well I see this, but if I look into the respositories, there is no such package.
