I'm not sure if this qualifies as a bug, and indeed it may be a local problem. Does anyone else have trouble with this website:
www.lonelyplanet.com/finland
It makes my laptop grind to a halt, and top shows RAM is maxed out.
Unfortunately I am on the road so can't try other machines or Salix / Linux versions. Firefox in WIndows opens the page ok, but it probably isn't the same version.
Firefox memory leak in 14.1
Re: Firefox memory leak in 14.1
Confirmed. Firefox 45.1.1esr doesn't seem to have the same issue, so it seems like we're going to switch to the new esr sooner than scheduled.

Re: Firefox memory leak in 14.1
Just a side note...
Upgraded Firefox, started the app, everything was fine. Closed app, deleted existing .mozilla (to get a clean start with a new ESR) and restarted FF, did not start. It did however make a new .mozilla. I tried to re-start Firefox with the new .mozilla and it came up with a "Report the crash' dialogue box.
I tried this process 3 times (well, except the upgrading part), same results.
Dropped the old .mozilla in and all was well again.
Could be just my system (been there, done that...often)
