Hi,
I am currently using SalixXFCE 14.2.1 as Live USB with persistence on my notebook.

syslog says me:

Dec 21 21:18:55 salixlive kernel: [ 25.613644] ACPI: Deprecated procfs I/F for AC is loaded, please retry with CONFIG_ACPI_PROCFS_POWER cleared
Dec 21 21:18:55 salixlive kernel: [ 26.370381] ACPI: Deprecated procfs I/F for battery is loaded, please retry with CONFIG_ACPI_PROCFS_POWER cleared

Dec 21 21:18:55 salixlive kernel: [ 27.111784] [Firmware Bug]: Duplicate ACPI video bus devices for the same VGA controller, please try module parameter "video.allow_duplicates=1"if the current driver doesn't work.
AFAIU there is a problem here ?
What does that mean and how to fix that ?

Some info:

Maybe .. But they're talking about ACPI: Deprecated procfs I/F

How about
Dec 21 21:18:55 salixlive kernel: [ 27.111784] [Firmware Bug]: Duplicate ACPI video bus devices for the same VGA controller, please try module parameter "video.allow_duplicates=1"if the current driver doesn't work.

?

Unless there is something actually not working with an impact on performance (in which case please describe what your are seeing) there is almost certainly no need to worry about these messages.
