After receiving security advisory emails, I tried updating through Gslapt yesterday and received error messages that package files are not available and should they be ignored, etc. I checked with the browser and I get a 404 error on any directory and an error landing page when just trying to go to
http://salix.hostingxtreme.com
My /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc references
Code: Select all
SOURCE=http://salix.hostingxtreme.com/x86_64/14.2/:PREFERRED
and other directories.
Looking through the Wiki I modified the file to be
Code: Select all
SOURCE=http://mirrors.xmission.com/salix/x86_64/14.2/:PREFERRED
along with other directories to mirror the old URLs and commented the old URLs.
I will probably need to modify slapt-srcrc and slapt-srcrc.new likewise.
