Re: Problem to install virtualbox
Thank you Zhador, however still problem to install...
I added acpica and libvncserver via Gslapt, then started to install virtualbox via Sourcery,
after compiling for a long time it stopped with following error message log:
gcc: Internal error: Killed (program cc1)
Please submit a full bug report.....
....kmk: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
kmk: *** Exiting with status 2
fakeroot -- sh virtualbox.SlackBuild Failed
Any new hint what to do?
Br Jonas

Re: Problem to install virtualbox
I recommend installing the PUEL version:
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads
No need to compile and build a package

Re: Problem to install virtualbox
Which PUEL version (Linux distribution) to install?
I'm on Salix 13.37 LXDE and can't find salix nor slackware...

Re: Problem to install virtualbox
It should be quite obvious that you can use the one labeled "All distributions".
Re: Problem to install virtualbox
I did download "VirtualBox-4.1.18-78361-Linux_x86.run" from https://www.virtualbox.org/.
Sorry to say but this also failed, see screen message below.
root[jonas]# sh VirtualBox-4.1.18-78361-Linux_x86.run
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing VirtualBox for Linux installation...........
VirtualBox Version 4.1.18 r78361 (2012-06-20T10:02:27Z) installer
Please install the build and header files for your current Linux kernel.
The current kernel version is 2.6.37.6-smp
Problems were found which would prevent VirtualBox from installing.
Please correct these problems and try again.
Can anyone advice me what to do (I'm a newbee, please be patient: )

Re: Problem to install virtualbox
And that is also the cause for fail to compile.
