Safe method to upgrade glibc-*

Hello,

In Salix OS it is safe to update glibc-* as the wiki indicates, https://docs.salixos.org/wiki/How_to_up ... .1_to_14.2

I would say only as part of such an upgrade from one Salix version to another, and in any case, only if you really know what you are doing.

Slackel works differently from Salix in that it is based on Current. Salix follows the latest stable Slackware release.

Personally, I prefer to start fresh each time, and redo my tweaks.

No problem with Salix, at least so far. We do not have the troublesome glibc-solibs package installed by default.

OK, The way I see it, Salix OS is a pretty solid distribution ... A big thank you to all the developers, Gapan, Mimosa.
