Hi.
First time installer of Salix - and my first post here
First to say - I'm noob when it comes to Salix. I just finnished the install process, and I noticed that the menu language is Norwegian. I was ment to only have the keyboard map to be norwegian, and the rest should read english.
How can I change this?
Also I'll aprechiate any link to sites that explain how to use fluxbox desktop, I'm not familiar to it.
Thanks
[edit]
Sorry to bothering you with noob questions.
Found my answer (edit : i thaught) in the manual at page 40.
Ran sudo localesetup, selected english/USA and then rebooted (edit : did not fix)
[edit 2]
Sorry, not solved after all. The names on the desktop right click menu is still in norwegian.
Do I have to reinstall to make all menu submenus in english?

Re: Change menu language after install
Hi and welcome!
You'll have to log out and then back in for your desktop to switch language.

Re: Change menu language after install
For fluxbox, make sure you add:
sudo spi -i xdgmenumaker wm-logout feh
this will take care of automatically updating your menu and give you logout/shutdown/suspend/reboot options, and allow you to change the background.
these may be of interest:

PS: I mainly use fluxbox as well, sometimes Xfce.

Re: Change menu language after install
Thanks for answering.
I did run sudo spi -i xdgmenumaker wm-logout feh and then sudo reboot, but I'm still stuck with a menu where most (but not all) sub menus have norwegian labels.
I see now that gapan say log out and then log back in. I did a whole reboot instead. Is there any reason to beleive that log out + log in will behave any different than reboot + log in? I just asking because I simply doesn't know.
[unrelated to this case, but still]
There is a dead link on this page

The link to this site doesn't work

I was interresting to see if this is features that may compare to Autohotkey (a macro for automate key click and other inputs, only for windows).

I'm not sure why you reported the dead link here...
