Hi people!
After four years using slackware and after having translated slint project and salix, salix tools, etc into portuguese a time ago ... I'm back to Salix. I made a fresh installation of Salix 14.2 xfce today and after using the (repository mirror) application to be able to update the system i noticed that the file slapt-srcrc has the version 14.1 instead version 14.2
SOURCE = http: //slackware.uk/salix/slkbuild/14.1/
SOURCE = http: //slackware.uk/salix/sbo/14.1/
I easily edited the file for the 14.2 version but this is normal? I mean, having the Salix 14.2 version installed and have an edited file to 14.1 version?
slapt-srcrc file
Re: slapt-srcrc file
The iso have several packages that are out of date. Update your packages by doing a a slapt-get --update followed by a slapt-get --upgrade. Also since it been awhile, have a look at the Start-Up Guide
